Tejaswi making BPSC exam an issue to wash away stigma of his parents: Mangal

Patna, Dec 24 (Reporter) Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Health Minister Mangal Pandey alleged that intending to wash away the stigma of his parents, Leader of Opposition Tejaswi Yadav was making Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) examination an issue. Pandey said here on Tuesday that Yadav should muster the courage to speak the truth that Lalu Prasad Yadav being Chief Minister had made Lakshmi Rai Chairman of Bihar Public Service Commission in 1997 who was put behind bars under corruption charges. Lakshmi Rai was an accused of Engineering admission scam which took place in 1996. Even after the corruption charges which were being probed by the CBI, Lalu Yadav had made him Chairman of the commission, alleged Pandey. The CBI had arrested Rai under serious charges in 2000. He also asked Yadav to explain who had made Ram Sinhasan Singh Chairman of the commission in July 2004 and who converted the commission to a hub of corruption. Under whose rule the administrative posts were sold in lieu of huge sums of money, he questioned? Pandey asked Tejaswi, whom he alleged of shedding crocodile tears for the BPSC candidates, to tell why eight BPSC employees including Chairman Ramsinghasan Singh were arrested after the formation of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government in 2005. Yadav, who is trying to mislead the youth of Bihar on the pretext of a paper leak, should remember the tenure of his parents, Pandey said adding that corrupt used to get protection under Lalu Raj but were facing actions under the regime of the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar...////...
