Patna, Jan 18 (Reporter) National President of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) National President Lalu Prasad Yadav said that opposition leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav was taking forward socialism, secularism and social justice, the basic principles of the RJD. Addressing the National executive of RJD hair on Saturday Yadav said that Tejaswi was working hard to carry forward the principles of the party for which he has covered thousands of kilometres in the state. On this occasion Tejaswi Yadav said that the RJD was formed under crucial circumstances and appealed the party leaders to intensify the membership drive of the party and asked them to make at least two active members for each booth in addition to the booth committee s. He said only hard working leaders would be entrusted with responsibilities within the party and any indiscipline would never be tolerated. National General Secretary of RJD Jaiprakash Narayan Yadav proposed to nominate senior party leader Ramchandra Purvey as national chief electoral officer and party spokes person Chitranjan Gagan as assistant national chief Election Officer for the organisational elections of the party for 2025 - 2028 session. The organisational elections programme proposed by the party National General Secretary Bhola Yadav was adopted unanimously. Later the party adopted political resolutions for countering communalism and forces operating against the Social Justice.
