Hyderabad, May 18 (Reporter) The Telangana Cabinet meeting will be held at the Secretariat on Saturday. The meeting, chaired by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is scheduled to begin in the afternoon. Despite the conclusion of parliamentary elections, the election code of conduct remains in force in the state, which restricts the Cabinet from making significant decisions until the counting process is completed. Consequently, the state government has written to the Central Election Commission, seeking permission to hold the Cabinet meeting. Official sources have indicated that this permission is expected to be a formality. The agenda for the Cabinet meeting includes discussions on several key issues, such as the loan waiver scheme, pending issues from the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, market values of land in the state, registration charges, revision of stamp duties, mobilisation of revenue sources, progress in grain procurement, monsoon crop planning, and the interim report provided by the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) on the Medigadda Barrage.
