Vikarabad (Telangana), Feb 21 (Reporter) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy declared on Wednesday that the state government would soon implement two more guarantees, providing Rs 500 cooking gas cylinders and 200 units of free power for white ration card holders.
Addressing a public meeting after laying the foundation stone for 20 developmental projects worth Rs 4,360 crore in his assembly constituency of Kodangal in Vikarabad district, Reddy also disclosed that the Rythu Bandhu (Rythu Bharosa) scheme would be implemented on March 15. Additionally, the waiver of crop loans up to Rs 2 lakhs is slated to be enforced shortly.
Expressing gratitude to the people of Kodangal for their support, Reddy emphasised his commitment to fulfilling promises made during his tenure.
Accusing the previous BRS regime of water theft and neglecting the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project, Reddy claimed that Rs 27,000 crore had been spent without providing water to even one acre. He criticized the former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar for not completing projects despite spending Rs 2 lakh crore during the BRS regime.
Alleging injustice to Mahabubnagar by former CM KCR, Reddy claimed a secret alliance between BRS and BJP. He accused BJP of not delivering on promises, including the extension of National Status to the Palamuru-RangaReddy Lift Irrigation scheme.
Expressing his ambition to secure 14 out of 17 MP seats, Reddy urged the public to provide a 50,000-vote majority to Vamsidhar Reddy in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Mahabubnagar...////...
