Hyderabad, Jan 28 (Reporter) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy underscored the crucial role of builders in steering the nation towards development.
Speaking as a Chief Guest at the 31st National Builders Association Convention held at Hitex, Madhapur, here on Saturday night, the Chief Minister affirmed the government's unwavering support, stating, "We are here to declare that this government stands by you. The development of the state hinges on your financial strength, and we are committed to providing a reliable solution to the challenges faced by builders."
He brought attention to the iconic Musi river, once adorned with chain ponds, and emphasized its significance as a major asset to Hyderabad. The government is taking decisive measures to revitalize the Musi riverfront through projects aimed at restoring its former glory.
Referring to the forthcoming Telangana Mega Master Plan 2050, the Chief Minister urged builders to actively participate, stating, "Your cooperation is essential for the success of this Master Plan. Utilize your experience for the comprehensive development of Telangana."
In a call for collective effort, he emphasized, "All of you play a vital role in rebuilding the devastated Telangana. Cooperation among builders is imperative for the state's progress."
Former Builders Association of India (BAI) National President B Seenaiah urged the state government to revive the Bills Monitoring System (BMS), which was abolished by the then Government. Tenders should be invited only after the allocation of the budget. Royalty should be increased if steel and cement rates rise after the tender.
