Telangana CS chairs a coordination meeting to review arrangements for PM’s visit

Hyderabad, Feb 29 (Reporter) Telangana Chief Secretary Ms. Santhi Kumari presided over a coordination meeting today to assess the preparations for the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the state on March 4 and 5. She emphasized the need for meticulous and coordinated arrangements. During the meeting, the Chief Secretary instructed the police department to ensure ample security, manage law and order, regulate traffic, and implement bandobast arrangements according to the Blue Book guidelines, an official statement said on Thursday. Additionally, she directed the positioning of adequate firefighting resources at the airport, helipads, and all event venues. The health department officials were tasked with making necessary medical arrangements in accordance with the requirements of the Prime Minister's office. Similarly, the R&B department was instructed to collaborate with the police and GHMC for the repair of roads to be used by the Prime Minister's convoy. The Energy Department received instructions to guarantee uninterrupted power supply at all visit locations. The Chief Secretary emphasized the importance of close coordination among all line departments to ensure the Prime Minister's visit is executed successfully. The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit Adilabad on March 4 and Sangareddy on March 5, where he will launch various development programs and address public meetings. DGP Ravi Gupta, Principal Secretary Home Jitender, DG Fire Services Nagi Reddy, Secretary Political Raghunandan Rao, Secretary Health Christina Zongthu, Secretary to Governor Surendra Mohan, Commissioner I&PR Hanumantha Rao, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose, CMD TSPDCL Musharraf, and other officials attended the meeting.
