Telangana Govt declares holiday and state mourning for former PM Manmohan Singh

Hyderabad, Dec 27 (Reporter) The Telangana Government has declared a holiday for all government offices and educational institutions on December 27 to mourn the demise of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who passed away on December 26. As a mark of respect for the departed leader, the state will observe seven days of mourning. During this period, the National Flag will be flown at half-mast, the government announced in an official statement issued Thursday night.
