Hyderabad, Dec 17 (Reporter) The Congress government in the House on Monday informed that it is contemplating introducing three innovative policies—temple tourism, ecotourism, and health tourism—to boost tourism in the state. Replying to a question raised by Congress members during the question hour in the House, Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao said the government is also planning to establish a new zoological park near Hyderabad. The government is contemplating formulating a Telangana tourism policy (2025-30) giving great emphasis on temple/spiritual tourism, eco-tourism, and health/wellness tourism; he said the policy is in the advanced stage of formulation.
