Hyderabad, July 28 (Reporter) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has stated that the state is home to architectural marvels such as the Charminar, Golconda Fort, Qutub Shahi Tombs, Thousand Pillar Temple, Ramappa Temple, and Alampur Temples. Participating in the closing ceremony of the restoration of Qutub Shahi Heritage Park on Sunday, Reddy expressed his pleasure and honour in participating in the closing ceremony of the restoration project under the auspices of the Telangana Government and the Aga Khan Trust for Culture. He welcomed everyone to Telangana, highlighting its rich history, culture, and traditions spanning thousands of years. Reddy noted that the Satavahanas, Kakatiyas, Qutb Shahis, and others ruled the region, each leaving a unique cultural imprint. Over the centuries, Hyderabad, known for its 'Ganga-Jamuna Tehjeeb', has witnessed the harmony and coexistence of multiple races and cultures. The Qutub Shahi Heritage Park, including the Seven Tombs of the Qutb Shahi Dynasty, stands as a testament to architectural skill and cultural richness. The Telangana government is committed to protecting the culture and heritage of the state and proudly showcasing it on the world map. Reddy emphasized that Telangana is proud of the Ramappa Temple, a UNESCO-recognized World Heritage Site. The restoration program, initiated with an MoU in 2013, is the largest conservation effort in the world, encompassing more than 100 monuments over an area of 106 acres. On behalf of the Government of Telangana and the people of Hyderabad, Reddy expressed gratitude and appreciation for the cooperation and generosity of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture.
