Hyderabad, Dec 9 (Reporter) The winter session of the Telangana Legislative Assembly, which commenced on Monday, was adjourned to December 16 after discussions on the installation of the Telangana Talli statue at the Secretariat.
The session began at 1030 hours, with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announcing the unveiling of the Telangana Talli statue scheduled for this evening.
The Chief Minister addressed opposition criticisms regarding the concept of Telangana Talli, emphasising its cultural and historical significance. He also extended an invitation to all political parties to participate in the unveiling ceremony.
Members of the Assembly engaged in a discussion on the installation of the statue and expressed their support for the initiative. Following the discussion, Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar adjourned the session to December 16.
In a separate development, BRS MLAs were barred from entering the Assembly premises by security personnel. The officials objected to the BRS members wearing T-shirts displaying images of industrialist Gautam Adani and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy...////...
