Yadadri Bhuvanagiri (Telangana), Jan 4 (Reporter) A massive explosion occurred on Saturday morning at Premier Explosives Industries in Pedda Kandukur village, Yadagirigutta Mandal in this district leaving one person killed and six others seriously injured. The deceased was identified as M Kanakaiah from Bachannapet village. Another victim, Prakash, who sustained critical injuries, has been shifted to a hospital in Hyderabad for advanced treatment, while the other injured workers are receiving care at a nearby hospital. Upon receiving the alert, police rushed to the scene and initiated rescue operations. The factory management sounded an emergency siren, prompting workers to evacuate in panic. Family members of the victims gathered at the factory, expressing deep concern over the incident. The cause of the explosion is yet to be determined.
