Hyderabad, Aug 26 (Reporter) on Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday said the government will appoint Vice Chancellors (VCs) to all Universities in 10 or 15 days. Other vacancies will also be filled in the universities, said Reddy after distributing cheques to the civil service aspirants under Rajiv Gandhi Civils Abhayahastam program at Secretariat here on Monday. Hostels do not have proper infrastructure and it is the main reason, the government is establishing SC, ST, BC, and Minority Gurukuls under one umbrella with all facilities, the CM said. Integrated residential schools are being set up in every Assembly constituency where the facilities will be provided with national standards, he informed. Some forces are trying to get political advantage by provoking the students. Earlier, these forces benefited by instigating the students, he pointed out and said that after losing power, the forces started raising the students and unemployment issues. We are strongly committed to solving students' problems, the CM assured and said that protests and dharnas are not solutions to the problems. Appealing to the students not to fall prey to the conspiracies, he said ‘Think independently on the decisions taken by the government’. Government's top priority is education, employment, and farmer's welfare, he said. As your elder brother, ‘I will take the responsibility of solving the problems’, the CM assured. Unemployment problem increased due to a lack of skills and the Youth are losing job opportunities due to lack of adequate training, he said and added that his government started Young India Skills University and adopted an Industry approach in the management of the university. Seeking suggestions from notable scholars also, he said that famous Industrialist Anand Mahindra has been appointed as the Chairman of the university.
