Itanagar, June 2 (Reporter) Prime Minister Narendra Modi while thanking the people of Arunachal Pradesh for reposing their faith in the BJP, yet again said that the party will keep working with even greater vigour for the border state’s growth. The Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday returned to power in Arunachal Pradesh for the third consecutive time with a thumping majority as it won 46 seats in the 60-member Assembly. “Thank you, Arunachal Pradesh! The people of this wonderful state have given an unequivocal mandate to the politics of development. My gratitude to them for reposing their faith in BJP Arunachal Pradesh yet again,” Modi posted on X. “Our Party will keep working with even greater vigour for the state's growth,” he said. Prime Minister Modi also appreciated the hard work of the exceptional BJP Karyakartas in Arunachal Pradesh through the election campaign. “It is commendable how they went across the state and connected with the people,” he said. Buoyed by Modi’s inspirational words, CM Pema Khandu wrote on X, “Thank you, Prime Minister Sir. Your guidance and vision have played a monumental role in our success. We shall continue with greater vigour to work for Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas.” Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda also extended their heartfelt gratitude to the people in Arunachal Pradesh for their unwavering confidence in the BJP. “This victory is a testament to the Northeast people's trust in PM Narendra Modi Ji and the era of change ushered in by the Modi government in the region,” Shah said in a social media post.
