Chennai, Oct 21 (Reporter) Furthering its probe into the 2022 Deepavali eve Kovai blast cas, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday night arrested three more persons in connection with the case. A statement from NIA said they were arrested for their alleged involvement in the funding of the car blast that occurred in front of Sangameswarar temple at Kottaimedu in the Textile City on October 23, 2022. A release from NIA said those arrested were Aboo Hanifa, Saran Mariappan and Pavas Rahman, all hailing from Coimbatore, taking the total number of arrests in the case to 18.
