Amaravati, Aug 2 (Reporter) Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and strong surface winds with speed ranging from 30- 40 Kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next five days, Meteorological Centre said on Friday. In a daily weather report here, it said that the same situation is likely to prevail in Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours. Strong surface winds with speed ranging from 30- 40Kmph is likely to prevail at isolated places in Rayalaseema from August 4 to 7. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at a few places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next seven days. The Southwest monsoon has been normal in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and weak in Rayalaseema. Heavy rain occurred at Eluru district of North Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the last 24 hours.
