Chennai, June 20 (Reporter) The opening day's session of the Tamil Nadu Assembly was adjourned without transacting any business after paying tributes to sitting ruling DMK MLA N Pughazhendi, elected from Vikravandi, and others who died during the intervening session. Soon after the House assembled, Speaker M Appavu read out the condolence resolution mourning the death of Mr Pugalzhendi. The House also adopted obituary references in respect of those former members who died in the intervening sessions.
