TN Assembly adjourned sine die after 2-day session

Chennai, Dec 10 (Reporter) The Tamil Nadu Assembly was on Tuesday adjourned sine die after a brief two day session. During the session, the ruling DMK adopted a resolution against tungsten mining in the state. The Opposition also raised various issues including Chief Minister M K Stalin's reported meeting with industrialist Gautam Adani, to which he made a reply denying it, the Cyclone fengal damages demanding enhanced relief. Finance Minister Thangam Thennarasu also tabled the Supplementary Estimates for the year 2024-25 which was also approved. After the two day proceedings, the House was adjourned sine die by Speaker M Appavu. The House will be prorogued and the Governor will issue a fresh notification for convening the next session, which will meet next year either in January or February with his customary New Year address...////...
