Thanjavur (Tamil Nadu), Nov 27 (Reporter) A lower court in Thanjavur has sentenced ten persons to undergo life imprisonment in a murder case. According to the prosecution, 13 persons attacked Arunraj (22) of Melakabisthalam at Kumbakonam in Thanjavur district with sickles on August 12, 2020 over enmity. Arunraj died in the attack. The Swamimalai police registered a case and arrested all the 13 accused in the murder case. When the case came up for final hearing, the Additional District Court (Fast Track), Kumbakonam Judge J.Radhika found ten of the 13 persons guilty of the offence and awarded life sentence to them on Tuesday evening, while three other accused in the case were discharged due to lack of evidence...////...
