Hyderabad, Sep 25 (Reporter) Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Limited (TOMCOM) will be conducting an enrollment drive in the state for overseas job opportunities on September 27 and 28. In a statement released on Wednesday, TOMCOM, a registered recruitment agency under the Department of Labour, Employment Training, and Factories, Government of Telangana, outlined its mandate to facilitate overseas placements for skilled and semi-skilled workers from Telangana. As part of its initiative, TOMCOM has established partnerships with various government and private registered agencies in countries such as Australia, Canada, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Poland, Romania, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the UK, in addition to Gulf countries. There is currently a high demand in the UAE for positions such as Mechanical Technician, Electrical Technician, BMS Operator, MEP Technician, and MEP Supervisor. Applicants for these roles must have completed ITI, Diploma, or B. Tech qualifications, possess 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, and be between 20-45 years of age. In addition, there are job openings for Carpenters, Masons, Steel Fixers, and Helpers in the UAE. Applicants for these positions must have a minimum of 2 years of experience and be between 20-40 years of age.
