Amaravati, Feb 1 (Reporter) The trough in easterlies over Southwest Bay of Bengal extending upto 0.9 km above mean sea level has become less marked, Meteorological Centre said on Saturday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that lower tropospheric South Westerly winds prevail over North coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, North Easterly /Easterly winds prevail over South coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema
Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at one or two places in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours.
Shallow fog is likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours.
Minimum temperatures are likely to be above normal by 2-3 degree Celsius in Rayalaseema during the next three days.
Dry weather is likely to prevail in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next seven days and in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema from February 2 to 7.
