Tirupati, Jan 26 (Reporter) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Executive Officer J. Syamala Rao said that national leaders made many sacrifices with unwavering dedication to bring independence to India, and TTD employees should take inspiration from such people and provide better services to devotees.
Addressing the 76th Republic Day celebrations observed at the Parade Grounds here, Rao highlighted the various services that TTD is providing to the devotees
In all the temples managed by TTD, we are conducting daily rituals as per the advice of the Jeeyangars and other prominent Agama experts, he said. on the occasion of Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam for 10 days from January 10 to 19 close to 7 lakh devotees had darshan during the period, he said.
Last year, the Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavam from October 4 to 12, and Sri Padmavati Ammavari Brahmotsavam from November 28 to December 06 were organised successfully, he said.
Lakhs of devotees had a satisfactory darshan and vahana darshan during the Brahmotsavams, he said.
Quality Annaprasadam, Ladduprasadam, and accommodation were provided to the devotees without any inconvenience, the EO said.
As part of the Hindu Dharma Prachara, a model temple of Srivaru was set up at the prestigious Kumbh Mela being held from Feb 13-26 at Prayagraj in the state of Uttar Pradesh, he said.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has made several suggestions to TTD officials to prepare Vision 2047 for Tirumala, he said that as per his suggestions, steps are being taken to construct the Alipiri base camp, multi-level parking, smart parking, construction of new link roads, construction of subways, Ram Bhageecha, Balaji bus stand, and old Choultries.
Special attention towards traffic control, necessary parking, and infrastructure development in Tirumala, he said steps to develop the temples under the auspices of TTD in a phased manner.
Signed an MoU with TVS Motor Company to manufacture Annaprasadam using state-of-the-art machinery to provide quality, hygienic, and delicious Annaprasadam to the devotees, he said.
He said an agreement with Reliance Retails was made to guide the selection of quality raw materials used in the preparation of laddus and anna prasadams offered to devotees.
He said the National Dairy Development Board has donated two machines worth Rs. 70 lakh to open lab with state-of-the-art equipment to fully identify the quality of ghee used in Srivari Laddu Prasadams and Annaprasadams.
Since December 3rd last year, Srivari Darshan to Tirupati locals resumed on the first Tuesday of every month, said the EO.
As per the instructions of the Chief Minister, several changes in the Srivari Seva are being made to extract quality seva from volunteers, he informed.
TTD established Hindu religious projects a few decades ago as part of its efforts to widely promote Sanatana Hindu Dharma propagation among the masses, he said.
