Nashik, Oct 8 (Reporter) Two brothers and their friend were killed while another person was seriously injured when the car they were travelling in spun out of control due to a burst tire and collided with a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus in Chopda taluka of Jalgaon district on Tuesday morning.
The accident took place near a cotton mill, five kilometers from Chopda town.
The Chopda-Nashik Shivshahi bus left for Nashik from Chopda Bus Depot at six in the morning. When the bus came five kilometers away from the city, suddenly the car hit the bus. The car was going from Amalner to Chopda. The accident happened when the car spun out of control due to a burst tire.
Three passengers travelling in the car died on the spot. They include brothers Nilesh Rane and Shailesh Rane, and their friend Jitendra Bhokare. Another friend Omkar Khond was seriously injured and is hospitalised.
The four men were natives of Nizampur village in Dhule district and were residing in Nashik. They had left Nashik on Monday night around 11 pm, and were headed for the Navratri festival at Manu Devi temple in Yawal taluka.
As soon as the accident happened, the locals of the area came forward to help. The injured passenger was admitted to a hospital in Chopda.
Police rushed to the spot on getting information about the accident. Police have started the investigation and registered an accident case...////...
