Two children drowned in irrigation canal

Tirupati, Nov 16 (Reporter) In a tragic incident, two children were drowned in an irrigation canal at Yeruru village in Chillakuru mandal on Saturday. Police said that the deceased Kudumula Nagendramma (11) and Kandukuru Chintalaiah (10) went to the Sona irrigation canal to wash clothes. They slipped and drowned in the canal. The bodies were fished out of the canal. The police registered a case and shifted the bodies to the GGH for postmortem...////...
