Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nov 14 (Reporter) Accusing Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray-led UBT of abandoning the ideas of the late Balasaheb Thackeray, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Thursday alleged that the only reason for Uddav's visits to Delhi is to project himself as the CM face of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) Shinde alleged that Uddav has never cared, even during his Chief Ministerial stint, to visit Delhi to seek development assistance from the Centre. Speaking at a Mahayuti campaign rally here in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shinde said there is nothing wrong in asking for help from the Center for Maharashtra. "We go to get money for the development of the state, but he (Uddhav) goes to Delhi to make himself the Chief Minister, to project himself as the face of the Chief Minister's post," Shinde said. The Chief Minister criticised the MVA manifesto, saying they first condemned the schemes brought by Mahayuti and then stole them and subsequently brought their own formula of false promises. "Congress Aghadi is a shop of lies and they are sitting on the cash box of that shop. It is their conspiracy to make the people here their consumers but the people here are wise. On the coming 20th, the shutter of their shop will be closed forever," said Shinde. Further attacking on MVA, Shinde said that during their two and a half years, they ran the government "sitting at home and going live on Facebook:. "Their Home Minister went to jail on charges of extortion. All the big projects were stopped. The work of many projects like Jalyukt Shivar, Marathwada Watergrid, Metro was stopped by putting speed breakers. Temples were closed and shops of corruption were opened publicly," he said...////...
