Aizawl, Dec 23 (Reporter) Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Dairying, and Panchayati Raj, Prof. S.P. Singh Baghel, presided over the 14th Tranche Rozgar Mela held at the 2 AR Gajraj Hall, Lakhimpur Battalion in Aizawl on Monday. During the event, appointment letters were handed over to newly recruited employees in the Security Forces and Postal Departments. Addressing the gathering, Union MoS Prof. S.P. Singh Baghel congratulated the newly appointed recruits and highlighted the importance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visionary leadership in fostering development, ensuring national security, and promoting unity across the nation. He attributed the success of the Rozgar Mela initiative to these key priorities. Prof. Baghel urged the recruits to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to their responsibilities, emphasising the need for sincerity and commitment to their duties. He also underlined the significance of their role in nation-building and encouraged them to work diligently for the progress and development of the country. The Rozgar Mela programme in Aizawl began with a special movie presentation by the Assam Rifles, setting the tone for the event. The programme continued with a message from the Prime Minister, followed by an address by Brigadier Girish Upadhya, DIG, 23 Sector Assam Rifles. During the event, 25 appointment letters were distributed to the recruits.
