Patna, Dec 12 (Reporter) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been invited by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to attend the Mahakumbh commencing in Prayagraj of UP from January 13 next year.
Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government Rakesh Sachan and Daya Shankar Singh called on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at his residence in Patna on Thursday on behalf of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and extended the invitation to him for the MahaKumbh.
The Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha and other cabinet colleagues of Kumar have also been warmly invited to attend the auspicious event which will conclude on February 26 next year.
Interacting with Kumar and his cabinet colleagues, Sachan said that the preparations for the MahaKumbh were on the final swing under the leadership of the UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and in the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Sachan said that besides the chief minister and Deputy Chief Ministers, all ministers in the Bihar Government have been requested to attend MahaKumbh to which the leaders of opposition parties were also being invited.
Later Dayashankar Singh, Minister in the Yogi government said that Kumar accepted the invitation of his UP counterpart and assured him to visit MahaKumbh...////...
