UP: Six killed, 3 injured as truck hits car in Sonbhadra

Sonbhadra (UP), Feb 2 (Reporter) Six people were killed, and three others were injured when a truck hit a car and crushed a pedestrian in Hathinala area of Sonbhadra district here in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, a senior police officer said here. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the road accident in Sonbhadra district. He has expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the deceased. The CM has directed the district administration officials to immediately take the injured to the hospital and directed to ensure their proper treatment. Along with this, he also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. Superintendent of Police (SP) Ashok Kumar Meena said that the incident took place in Ranitali area on Varanasi Shaktinagar when the truck crossed the divider and went into the opposite lane and hit the car. He said that a total of six persons, including four people from Chhattisgarh, who were travelling in the car, the trailer driver and another person walking on the road were killed in the incident and three others were seriously injured. He said that Sanaullah Khalifa (40), a resident of Ramanujganj, Chhattisgarh, Ravi Mishra (45), a truck driver, Uma Shankar Patel alias Guddu (40), along with three unidentified people died in the incident...////...
