Mumbai, Mar 13 (Reporter) Chief Minister Eknath Shinde appealed on Wednesday to make Maharashtra accident-free by using advanced technology of speed gun, artificial intelligence in modern traffic management system. Speaking after flagging off 187 interceptor vehicles of the Transport Department at Nariman Point here, he said that to make Maharashtra accident free, accident prone spots should be reduced through a district-level committee. The government is giving full support to the department to make the state accident free, he informed. To prevent accidents at night, the drivers should be checked at every junction, the Chief Minister said and advised to install rumblers on the roads.
