Hyderabad, Aug 6 (Reporter) Walsh Karra Holdings of America will invest Rs 42 crore in Women Enterprises (WE-Hub) in Telangana.
Walsh Karra Holdings plans to invest approximately Rs 839 crore in startups established in Telangana, in collaboration with WE-Hub, over the next five years.
The agreement was signed by Fani Karra and Greg Walsh of Walsh Karra Holdings, and Sita Pallacholla, CEO of WE-Hub.
In an innovative move to support women entrepreneurs, the Telangana government established WE-Hub. Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, who is currently visiting America to attract investments for the state, attended the signing ceremony. The MoU was signed in the presence of IT Industries Minister Sridhar Babu.
Walsh Karra Holdings, operating from America and Singapore, is managed by investors Greg Walsh and Fani Karra in collaboration with aspiring entrepreneurs. The company aims to grow investment opportunities to create a sustainable economy for the next century, supporting innovation, sustainability, and profitability. Their investment in Telangana is expected to contribute to building a sustainable future along with expanding their operations.
On the occasion of the agreement with WE-Hub, Greg Walsh stated that this agreement marks another step forward. Besides investments, they announced their commitment to a trustworthy partnership by undertaking various activities with the government in both urban and rural areas of Telangana.
