Mumbai, Dec 31 (Reporter) Reiterating that strict action would be taken against every accused in the Santosh Deshmukh murder case, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday averred he will not allow "Gundaraj" in the state.
Speaking to reporters after the surrender of Valmik Karad, an accused in former Sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh murder case, Fadnavis said, "I have been saying from the first day that strict action will be taken against every accused in the Santosh Deshmukh murder case. Nobody has the right to indulge in such acts. Till all the culprits are hanged, the police will take every action needed," he said.
"We will not allow goon rule. No one can be subjected to such violence, no ransom can be demanded. Accordingly, we have speeded up the investigation and that is why Valmik Karad surrendered," he added...////...
