Will talk only with CM for ending stir: Bengal doctors

Kolkata, Sep 11 (Reporter) West Bengal doctors on Wednesday continued their protest outside the state health secretariat demanding resignation of three top department officials but conveyed to the Chief Minister’s Office that they were open to holding talks only with Mamata Banerjee for ending the deadlock resulting from the murder of their colleague in R G Kar Medical College and Hospital on August 9. The medics, under the umbrella of West Bengal Junior Doctors Front, on Tuesday refused to go to the secretariat following an invitation for talks from the principal health secretary. "We are open for a talk at any time and any place provided the highest authority invites us and the delegation must not be less than 25 members among the doctors," said a medic who spent the whole night with his other fellows at the protest site...////...
