Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that while women’s empowerment is a topic of discussion in many countries, in India, it has been a tradition of respect and reverence since ancient times. He emphasized that Indian society goes beyond theoretical commitments, actively implementing measures to strengthen women’s role in various sectors. He highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to ensure one-third representation for women in public offices and reiterated the Madhya Pradesh government’s provision of 35 percent reservation for women in government services. He further noted that the state is creating extensive employment opportunities for women through new industries, with special incentives for those working in the readymade garment sector. Additionally, the government is advancing education and welfare initiatives such as Ladli Laxmi Yojana and Ladli Behna Yojana, providing special support for girls' education. Dr. Yadav also praised Sathya Sai Mahila Mahavidyalaya for securing an A+ grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and commended the institution for completing 50 years of academic excellence.
