Hyderabad, June 8 (Reporter) Former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu said on Saturday that he was “deeply saddened by the demise of Padma Vibhushan Ch. Ramoji Rao, the founder and chairman of the Eenadu group.”. Taking on microblogging platform ‘X’, Naidu said, “Shri Ramoji Rao was more than an institution-builder; he was an institution in himself”. Through Eenadu, the most widely circulated Telugu newspaper, Shri Ramoji Rao had his ear to the ground and his finger on the pulse of the people. Eenadu and its TV network, under his helmsmanship, emerged as the heartbeat of the Telugu masses. As the visionary who conceived and developed Ramoji Film City, as the founder of financial institutions like Margadarsi Chit Funds, and as a filmmaker, industrialist, and entrepreneur, Shri Ramoji Rao scripted history with his commitment and zeal, he tweeted. “In my multiple interactions with Shri Ramoji Rao, I always found his unflagging devotion to the principled growth of the institutions he envisioned and nurtured shining through," said Naidu.
